A fantastic night at St James' tonight.
After a fantastic lantern making session last week, Stalmine's Lantern Parade started off the festivities. We all then met at St James' church. Here we listened to a retelling of the Christmas story and sang carols together. The Over Wyre brass band accompanied the carols - they were fantastic! Stalmine cubs also led the prayers.
Lot's of our pupils came and sang Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer; Silent Night, Away in a Manager and Glory to God.
It was wonderful to see so many families and people from the community.
A great way to start the festive season!
